(Shanghai, China- 10th March 2010) At the 15th International IC-China Conference & Exhibition (IIC-China 2010) held in Shenzhen from March 4th to 5th, Shanghai Hua Hong NEC Electronics Company Ltd. ("Hua Hong NEC") presented its latest technologies and design support platforms. The two-day event focuses on green power and auto electronics, and discusses the most recent technology applications, trends and innovations for the growing industries. With Shenzhen as the driving force, the Pearl River Delta region is one of the world's dynamic electronics design and manufacturing hubs. It is also a leading components distribution center in China and China’s biggest import and export market. Under the theme of “Your Best Foundry Partner in China”, Hua Hong NEC participated in IIC-China, China’s premier systems design and component sourcing event, for the first time. As the first foundry to show up at IIC-China, Hua Hong NEC’s booth has aroused great interest among the professional visitors and guests. Furthermore, Hua Hong NEC Shenzhen Technology Symposium 2010 was held on the morning of March 5th. The Symposium attracted more than 50 professionals from design firms, partners, and system manufacturers. Mr. Gao Feng, VP of Marketing, Hua Hong NEC, made an opening speech. He talked about Hua Hong NEC’s recent achievements made through development and innovation under the Financial Crisis. He also expressed his great gratitude to the customers and partners for their consistent support to Hua Hong NEC.
Dr. Lai Leiping, Senior VP of Worldwide Sales, Hua Hong NEC, gave a presentation on “Hua Hong NEC to Take Advantage of Recovery and Semiconductor Consolidation/Development for Creating Tomorrow’s Brilliance”. Dr. Lai spoke on the development trends of China’s IC industry and Hua Hong NEC’s future growth. Mr. Chu Tungyan, Fellow of Hua Hong NEC, delivered a speech titled “Develop Hua Hong NEC’s Featured Technology to Meet the Requirements for Localization of IC”, and Dr. Tang Tianshen, VP of Design Service, Hua Hong NEC, addressed on “Hua Hong NEC’s Design Services to Customer Needs and Brief Introduction to IP” respectively. During their speeches, they introduced the advanced featured technologies, value-added services and the recent development of Hua Hong NEC’s R&D. In addition, as a contributing guest, Mr. Xu Ding, VP of Shang Hai Belling Co. Ltd., was invited to give a great speech, “Design Houses Growing Together With Foundry”, at the Symposium. He shared his company’s successful experiences with the participating guests and got positive feedback.
The conference and technology symposium have helped Hua Hong NEC to share the Pearl River Delta’s particular electronics design, manufacturing and supply source. Moreover, these events have enhanced the cooperation between Hua Hong NEC and customers in the Pearl River Delta region, and further build up Hua Hong NEC’s presence in the area.
